Daniel Kreadman Kuhn left us today
My father Daniel died peacefully this morning, Sunday November 6 2022. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2008, and survived prostate cancer in 2015. I would like to write more about his life, but today is about giving and receiving love from all who knew him. Thank you.

2022.10.29 Cottonwood Creek CA (BLM)
This might possibly be my favorite campsite. Me and Maddy on a water sampling tour for Adventure Scientists.

2022.10.08-09 Fort Sage OHV TH, Fort Sage, BLM, CA
This place continues to surprise with how quiet it can be for an OHV developed area. We saw two motorcycles. There were some hunters who left on their atv at 5.30 am and that’s about it… Beautiful, comfortable, free camping. Maddy gives it a ten.

2022.09.17 Hinkey Summit Road camp, BLM, NV
Me and Maddy on our way back to Reno. An 80’s dance party may or may not have occurred under a pitch dark smoky sky. Far enough to not hear the road or anything else, but good cell signal.

2022.09.01 Rye Patch State Recreation Area, West Side Campground, NV
Just me and Maddy in our now usual spot! $15.

2022.08.20 Upper Blue Lake Campground, Toiyabe Nat’l Forest (PG&E), CA
Standard Nat’l Forest campground with water, pit toilets, tables, fire rings. Pleasant. Met Shawn, Carrie and their families there by serendipity! $25, site #114. No photo taken.

2022.08.19 Blue Lakes area, Toiyabe Nat’l Forest, CA
Situated on the ridge between Blue Lakes & Tamarack Lake; narrow–just able to squeeze the truck in. Dispersed, very nice, good views.

2022.08.06 Jackson Summit/Jackson Creek Road, SE OR
Nothin’ but silence and space. Love. Didn’t see/hear one car is 72 miles of driving to Anderson Crossing and back. Got out due to threatening rainstorms / fear of mud.

2022.08.05 Westside Campground, Rye Patch State Recreation Area, NV
Swam across the tiny lake and back. Not sure how clean it is but it felt good! On our way to Anderson Crossing on a Adventure Science Wild & Scenic River water sampling trip. Didn’t take one pic, it seems.

2022.07.24 Westside Campground, Rye Patch State Recreation Area, NV
A great jump off/return from/to Reno camp spot with lots of birds and some water to get into. Don’t know it’s quality as it’s extremely low. $15/night at a kiosk–be sure to put the receipt on your car! 🙂 Showers, flush toilets, water, picnic tables, fire rings; a shelter at each campsite. It was very…
