Ann convinced my colleague visiting from Vermont to start our workday with a snowshoe up Tamarack. We made it back in time for a client call from the parking lot – on time to the minute. Not bad. Shod Summit climb Victors

Ann and I take Colin and Aspen up Incline on our favorite route. Aspen learns that snow does not equal cold – it’s a very warm day and too much clothing will cook you! We linger on the windless summit, then I do a slush run on the south side and climb halfway back up.…

At last! The lovely peak between Relay and Mount Rose has beckoned to me many times, and Ann has explored it solo, but I never made it up until now. We didn’t even plan to come in this far today, but the warm sun kept us going up some steep slopes and over the summit.…

Wow, perfect day on Incline. A little fresh snow, ideal weather, and it doesn’t seem at all like we’re repeating yesterday’s outing. Best turns so far this year. Ann and I both nearly decided not to come up day – sure glad we did. Perfect snowshoeing weather Sculpty snow ridge
