Alex hired me to help him color his travel map markers by author instead of category. A Geo Mashup customization did the trick, and an administration page for assigning colors to authors lets him do the same trick on other blogs. Happy travels, Alex!

Excellent! I think this may have sparked some interest in alternate ways to choose colors – by custom post type, or taxonomy. You’ve stirred the imagination…
