Too cold and windy in Vedauwoo for climbing, our band of hardy adventurers sets out on a scouting mission and winds up circling the high peaks of the area.
It’s very cool to see that hike placed on a topo map…. to compare the mental image with reality! You can even see the intensely debated “gap” descent toward Crow Creek, but then veering off east…Fun!

I’ve been waiting excitedly to see what the GPS said we did. I gave my best guess, and I’m so happy to see I wasn’t too far off. Cool!
