Otter 501 A Web Story

Filed under:  — cyberhobo at 10:24 am

Otter 501 Screen Shot I chipped in a little javascript for Vernal here to make the social sharing buttons aware of dynamically generated URLs. The site is an example of the trend of the sites I work on away from a collection of pages and toward a collection of small web apps. And it’s damn cute too! Kudos to Joe di Stefano for doing the heavy javascript lifting on this one.

  1. Did you notice that the pix on that otter page frequently do not load all the way ?

I think one photo (of whales)fully loaded of all the pages I scrolled to.

  2. I haven’t had that issue but will keep me eye out for it. The site does load a whole chapter’s worth of images at a time – maybe that can get interrupted. Appreciate the tip.
