Site 65. A very utilitarian and expensive post up for visiting Mammoth Lakes, walking distance to lots and lots of things, including food, library, and hardware store. Winter meant electric hookup only. It was challenging to keep the Princess plumbing from freezing at 18 degrees. Being next to the hospital and a constructions site and the police station wasn’t particularly peaceful, but inside the camper it was cozy and warm. Dylan went skiing toward Mt Ritter with friends after a day with me and Maddy, building a cat door for Ms. Mads. Nice showers. Including all the fees/taxes, the resulting cost was $122.50 per night. Still glad to have explored a new place.
