Feedster

Today I discovered the blog search engine Feedster, because I was getting some referrals from it. This is cool – a search engine that actually indexes current content. For instance, I typed in “Swiss Arete” and got my trip report from two days ago.

I guess b2 must be sending RSS content there for me. I need to learn more about how that works.

  1. Hi there,

I’m the guy who makes Feedster. What we do is grab rss feeds from sources that we located via a combination of change notification and auto discovery. B2 must automatically generate an RSS file and then we picked it up.

    Welcome aboard.

  2. Cool! I guess you would be the guy to know right away when someone writes a post about you. Still, I’m impressed how quick you made it here!
