Random spot the closest I could find to the Mt Rose Summit after I discovered that the Mt Rose Campground was not yet open due to too much snow! A gorgeous, tucked away spot, but too close to the road for comfort (noisy). Ann was solo here while Dylan backpacked from home in Reno to Mt Rose Summit via Hunter Creek. Saturday morning I drove to Mt Rose Summit where Dylan showed up at noon. It was cold and blowing a gale so I hid out in the camper!
