Wrights Lake / Pyramid Peak / Mt. Agassiz / Mt. Price Loop

Gabe suggested this outing, and by the end we were in agreement that this is the best ridge traverse either of us had done in the Tahoe area. Just spectacular.

We slept out near the trailhead, got an early start, and ran the first few miles of trail for a warm up. That got us up on Pyramid peak early enough to take our time on the rugged three (and a half really) peak traverse. A dip in Smith lake and a few more miles of trail wrapped it up, with Gabe’s knee just starting to give him trouble at the end. A finish at the Tahoe Brewery wrapped up an ideal day.
