Ann’s paddleboarding proposal is taken up by a bunch of friends from the Reno Collective and beyond. The weather and water are perfect. We make a fairly long trip east to some boulders in the water, one of which is good for jumping off, if you can believe the water is deep enough. It’s so clear that it often looks far shallower than it actually is.

The paddleboard rental place partners with a photographer, and Colin bought the whole passel of photos he took of us as a gift for many of us with birthdays in July, so there is a copious photo record of the trip. Here are a few I like:
