Looking forward to a quiet thanksgiving week, we pack the camper and head south toward the Mojave.

Desert Driving Break

And our friend Ted greets us for some long overdue grilling and yakking. The weather turns stormy when we get around to hiking in the El Paso hills, and we risk being trapped by floods to check out some intruiguing red rock formations. The rock is a conglomerate tuff that is unusual for this area.
