Bridal Wreath Falls Hike

We actually have to cross flowing water on the road to get to the trailhead Ann scouted out for an “after work” hike in Saguaro National Park. This and the cold wind are a little unusual we’re told, but the completely clear sky is standard Tucson. The trails in the park are so nice that we make it to Bridal Wreath Falls without realizing how much we’ve climbed. On the way back I start feeling my sore legs from yesterday’s outing, and the descent continues so long I wonder more than once if we’ve turned off route (even though we can’t really descend lower than our trailhead). Today I take some pictures of some of the cactus varieties in addition to the obligatory sunset.
