Urban “kamping”! The location suited our needs perfectly (birthday, city tour, Mike Doughty concert) though this was not quiet or particularly relaxing being right near the department of health and human services, an electric plant, the railway lines, etc etc. However, the park itself was extremely well maintained and felt very safe and was well patrolled. Best feature? The insta-lighting gas fire pits! It was cold and snowed on my birthday so these were a nice perk. Also, the fact that the light rail is right out front is makes getting into town fantastically easy for $5/day. Site #1317. If we stay here again I will want to move away from the road on the west side and into the middle of the park.
