Free camping in developed campsites but very close quarters. Don’t stay if you don’t want neighbors! I had to ask a family to turn off their coleman lantern which they had burning full blast all night outside their tent– in one of the few darkest places left in the U.S. It was 2am when I went over and asked them to turn it off. They did.

Anyway, I love this place! Loved swimming in Owyhee Reservoir as well. Pit toilets. No water.
