2025.04.24 Rye Patch State Park NV, West Side Campground

Stayed in the “main” area near the restrooms since we had the trailer and didn’t want to navigate the small space closer to the lake. That “small” space is preferable because it doesn’t have the glaring, blinding, blue restroom lights (Side rant directed to NV State Parks: Why do you DO this? One of your main selling points and value is your dark skies! Look to Bruneau Dunes State Park in Idaho for ideas!)

But this continues to be a nice go to overnight spot. $15/night. Showers (but I’ve never used them), flush toilets, and water available. (No hookups). Maddy hunted a kangaroo rat. :/
