Site #11. A BRAND NEW State Park. The no hookups campground was just completed, so new that the equipment tracks were still in the dirt and the fire pit had never been used. The full/part hookup campground is under construction. Turns out camping on Christmas Eve weekend in a brand new park in 20 degree weather is not very popular! $15/night. Flush toilets and hot showers with a push button. But no heater in the bathroom so brr. More birds/raptors/owls than we’d ever seen anywhere. I took a picture next to the newly planted trees so we can see their progress, like a child’s height wall. 🙂
