Halverson Lakes Meander

There’s a chilly breeze and the sun is low, but conditions smile just enough to be pleasant for this outing in the Snake River canyon with Ann’s brother Ryan and sister in law Danielle. A few birds appear as I’ve come to expect here: a red-tailed hawk tusseling with a raven, a prairie falcon dipping over the canyon rim, a pair of great blue herons, and many ducks, geese, and coots bobbing in the river. All while the waxing moon creeps upward over the big quiet river.
